GamyTech Interview: Merging Mobile Gaming with Real-Currency Competition
## GamyTech: Revolutionizing the Landscape of Competitive Play
Join us for a conversation with Jonathan Swerdlow, the driving force behind GamyTech, as we explore the rapid ascent of this real-currency competitive gaming hub.
**Can you elaborate on the concept of GamyTech?**
Fundamentally, GamyTech provides a space where users can wager actual money on well-loved mobile games such as Backgammon and 2048. By incorporating a monetary element, we inject an exhilarating layer into these familiar pastimes, allowing individuals to challenge each other with heightened stakes. Our methodology involves both crafting our own novel games and seamlessly weaving popular existing titles into the GamyTech framework.
**Walk us through your path in the online wagering realm – what ignited the spark for GamyTech?**
My venture into the world of online wagering commenced when I shifted my gaming enterprise from New York to Israel. The Israeli proficiency in effectively monetizing gaming experiences immediately captivated me, prompting a deeper exploration of this domain. As an early enthusiast of PokerStars and a devoted online poker player myself, I had personally observed the dynamic community that flourished around this digital pursuit. I was driven to recreate this vibrancy within a wider gaming sphere. Fueled by my enthusiasm for gaming and my background in online poker, I embarked on a mission to fuse these components into a distinctive and captivating product.
**What tactics have you utilized to promote GamyTech and its offerings?**
Weve fully embraced social media promotion, collaborating with fantastic collaborators, and establishing a strong presence across various advertising channels. Furthermore, we’ve unlocked the secrets of App Store optimization. Search for backgammon globally, and our application consistently secures a top ranking, often claiming the number one spot or at least a position within the top five across numerous countries.
Our player base is thrilled! We’re experiencing over 100% growth month-on-month. In less than a year since our launch, we’ve surpassed half a million downloads, cultivating a community of millions engaging in competitive gameplay on our platform. They are a passionate group, actively providing feedback, connecting with us on social media, and eagerly anticipating our future endeavors. We’ve successfully fostered a vibrant community around our games, particularly backgammon. Players return for more, forge friendships, engage in social media conversations, and even share their strategies through blog posts – it’s remarkable to witness. We even have skilled players earning a living through our platform! Some generate hundreds of dollars monthly simply by playing games.
Additionally, our game library features familiar titles like the timeless classics – Snake and 2048 – offering a change of pace from the excitement of backgammon.
Is recognition paramount for drawing in new players? Without a doubt! Our original aim was to present traditional and portable gaming to a broader demographic, and utilizing well-known games simplified this considerably. Hence, we commenced with established favorites like Backgammon and popular choices like 2048. Now that our users have confidence in us and grasp our system, we’re prepared to innovate and generate completely novel gaming encounters.
What lies ahead for GamyTech? We have a truly thrilling match-three game in development, akin to Candy Crush or Bejeweled, slated for imminent release. We’re also on the verge of unveiling a fresh perspective on card games, with even more in the pipeline. Our vision is to become the hub for specialized games that people adore. And prepare yourselves: we’re initiating multiplayer competitions with substantial prize funds within the next half-year, mirroring major platforms like PokerStars and Party Poker.
Did we face obstacles entering the digital gaming realm? Listen, launching a venture is inherently demanding, regardless of your chosen sector. However, I’ve discovered the online gaming sector to be especially stimulating in terms of promotion and aesthetics. It’s remarkably sophisticated compared to other fields. The rivalry in online gaming promotion is intense, though. Everyone is exceptionally proactive and knowledgeable in their craft.
Engaging consumers is perpetually a hurdle, particularly for a budding enterprise like ours contending with industry titans established for a decade or more. It’s a genuine test to devise innovative marketing approaches that capture the public’s interest.
A dilemma we ponder is whether digital gaming should transition toward more proficiency-based offerings. While I believe there will consistently be a demand for chance-based games like slot machines, I do feel that integrating social and multiplayer aspects is paramount in the current mobile landscape. Individuals desire engagement, and online gaming must evolve accordingly. Even in something like wagering on athletics, the capacity to vie with companions adds a completely new dimension of thrill. We’ve been overly concentrated on solitary player experiences, but the time has come for online gaming to embrace the interactive essence of the mobile era.
Currently, we are in the midst of securing $5 million in funding. We’ve received significant attention from prominent industry figures, encompassing operators, providers, and even some venture capitalists based in Israel. Should everything proceed smoothly, we aim to finalize the funding round by year’s end, enabling us to enlarge our staff, craft additional games, and escalate our marketing endeavors. I’m immensely proud to be a contributor to this company, and I firmly believe GamyTech possesses the necessary attributes to become a dominant player in the online gaming realm. Remain attentive – you’ll undoubtedly be hearing much more from GamyTech in the times ahead!
