The 888 Holdings group has finalized its purchase of William Hill’s global holdings, adding another victory to its portfolio after securing the first bidding competition.

This action brings both William Hill and Mr Green under the 888 brand. In anticipation of such a significant restructuring, 888 has declared several significant management adjustments.

William Hill’s Chief Executive Officer, Ulrik Bengtsson, resigned last week, indicating the commencement of this changeover. Chief Financial Officer Eric Hageman is also leaving as part of what 888 terms an “organizational shift.”

However, it’s not a total fresh start. Some recognizable figures from William Hill will persist. Mark Skinner, who joined William Hill as Chief Human Resources Officer in 2021 after occupying several senior human resources positions, will remain.

Alongside him is Satty Bhens, William Hill’s Chief Product and Technology Officer since 2019. Both will proceed in their present capacities.

The merged entity will be led by Itai Pazner, 888’s present CEO, with support from other 888 executives, including CFO Yariv Dafna and COO Guy Cohen.

Moving forward, 888 intends to publish its mid-year results in August, marking its transition to presenting financial outcomes in British pounds.

“I am pleased to declare the finalization of our transformative merger with William Hill,” remarked Pazner.

Weve assembled an exceptional executive group, combining the finest aspects of each organization. Moving forward, I firmly believe that merging our offerings and material, driven by our distinctive technology and premier brands, will propel our expansion.”

“A heartfelt thanks to Ulrik and Erik for their outstanding contributions at William Hill and all the best in their future endeavors.”
