888 Holdings has finalized its purchase of William Hill’s global holdings, incorporating another well-known brand into its expanding collection. With this action, William Hill and Mr Green become part of the 888 group, signifying a substantial enlargement of the company’s scope.

In conjunction with the merger, 888 revealed a reorganization of its executive team. Ulrik Bengtsson, William Hill’s Chief Executive, exited the company, as disclosed the previous week. Eric Hageman, the Chief Financial Officer, will also depart as part of what 888 terms “organizational efficiency.”

Nevertheless, 888 is keeping certain crucial William Hill personnel. Mark Skinner, who joined William Hill in 2021 following a prosperous tenure in senior human resources positions, will remain as the Chief People Officer.

Satty Bhens, William Hill’s Chief Product and Technology Officer since 2019, will also stay with the organization. Both Skinner and Bhens will persist in their present capacities.

Itai Pazner, the present 888 CEO, will lead the unified entity. Providing him support will be other key 888 executives, including CFO Yariv Dafna and COO Guy Cohen.

Moving forward, 888 intends to publish its mid-year results in August and will shift to reporting its financial performance in pounds sterling.

“I am pleased to declare the finalization of our transformative union with William Hill,” remarked Pazner.

We have assembled an exceptional leadership group that merges the finest attributes of each organization. As we look forward, our position for success is strong – we are uniting incredible offerings with captivating material, all driven by advanced technology and renowned brands.”

“My heartfelt appreciation goes out to Ulrik and Eric for their efforts at William Hill. I extend my best wishes for their future pursuits.”
