NagaCorp Delays Launch of New Phnom Penh Casino Amid Cambodian Lockdown
NagaWorlds parent company, NagaCorp, has declared a postponement of the inauguration of its fresh gambling establishment in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The organization had originally intended to transfer its gaming equipment from its current site in Sihanoukville to the new venue in February, but this was deferred to March because of a spike in COVID-19 infections.
Presently, with Cambodia under national lockdown measures, NagaCorp has been notified by the building proprietor that arrangements for the resumption have been halted. The firm had aspired to debut the new casino’s general gaming area in March, but this has now been moved to April.
Notwithstanding the obstacle, NagaCorp affirmed that the furnishing and setup of apparatus for the new gaming tables are finalized. Nevertheless, system assessments and personnel instruction are still outstanding. The corporation maintains a positive outlook on opening the new casino in April, expressing that it will “endeavor” to achieve this.
